The Beginning
Rafiul Islam is a small business owner from Mymensingh. Cricket runs in his blood — he follows everything from Bangladesh matches to the IPL. About two years ago, through a friend, KrikaThat's how he first heard about it. For the first few months, he simply observed, learned, and asked questions.
"I was really nervous at first," says Rafiul. "I thought I'd lose the moment I deposited anything. But after my first deposit on Krika, I got a bonus and saw the interface was in Bangla — that gave me some confidence."
Strategy Development Process
Rafiul decided he would only bet on what he actually knew. His focus became IPL and Bangladesh domestic cricket. He started tracking each team's recent form, pitch conditions, the season, and player injuries — all in a simple spreadsheet.
KrikaThe live stats section has been a game-changer for him. During matches, he uses real-time data — run rate, wicket situations, partnerships — to place in-play bets. Rather than betting only before the game starts, his edge comes from reading how a match is unfolding and acting on it.
Bankroll Management
Another key rule Rafiul set for himself: never stake more than 5% of his total balance on a single bet. He sticks to this strictly — even when a good opportunity comes along, he keeps his impulses in check.
"During a MI vs CSK match, I was completely sure who would win. But I stuck to my rule and bet just 5%. I won — but not by much. Afterwards I thought: if I had lost, how much damage would a bigger bet have done?" That mindset is what has kept him going over the long run.
IPL 2026 Season Results
During the IPL 2026 season, Rafiul placed a total of 42 bets — winning 28 and losing 14, for a win rate of 67%. His ROI against total investment came in at approximately 68%.
But Rafiul values the learning more than the numbers. "Of the 14 I lost, every single one taught me something. Not one bet was wasted." Krika's history section keeps a full record of all bets, making it easy for him to analyze his performance.
